Dead In Space
Game has been created as part of 2D Shooter course hosted on Coursera and lectured by Brian Winn.
The application has a few modifications to the template that has been provided:
- Unique music has been added per screen (Main menu, and for each level)
- A counter is been displayed on screen to show remaining lives
- Power ups have been introduced so the player's weapon gets better with more damage and faster projectiles. Based on the upgrade, the projectile's color changes.
- There are a few but not many destructable objects. They have been put in place as "shortcuts". If you find them, the game's difficulty level decreases. Otherwise you are likely to be just Dead In Space.
- Added a customized splash screen shown on application start up
